Increase In The Remembrance of Allāh In The First 10 Days of Dhu Al-Ḥijjah
Al-Imām Ibn Al-Qayyim - May Allāh Have Mercy Upon Him - Said:
The best (acts of worship) during the (first) Ten Days of Dhu Al-Ḥijjah is to increase in acts of worship, especially the Takbīr (Saying: Allāhu Akbar; Allāh Is The Greatest), the Tahlīl (Saying: Lā ilaha ilā Allāh; None Has The Right To Be Worshipped In Truth Except Allāh), and Taḥmīd (Saying: Alḥamdulillāh; All the praises and thanks be to Allāh), and it is better than an unspecified Jihād (legislated fighting in the cause of Allāh fought under a legitimate leadership).
