Lesson 1 | الدرس الأول
Important Points From The Lesson :
The importance of being grateful to Allāh for the blessing of being upon Tawḥīd and Sunnah.
The woman is Mukallaf, accountable for her deeds, just as the man is. Likewise, she has obligations upon her which she must hold, such as; establishing the Tawḥīd of Allāh, protecting her Ṣalawāt (prayers), learning the religion [the affairs of correct creed, purification, good manners, and other important subjects], etc.
The woman must obey her husband (in all that is not disobedience to Allāh), and she will not enter Jannah until she is asked regarding him (i.e. how she related with him in the Dunyā).
The woman must learn the rights of Allāh (, His Messenger - ﷺ -), her husband, and her children.
Islām has honoured and raised women, so they should not be deceived by the enemies of Islām and their lies claiming that Islām does not give the women rights they are deserving of.
Allāh has legislated for the man what is befitting for his nature, and has legislated for the woman what is befitting for her nature.
It is upon the woman to beware of the plots of the enemies of Islām to remove the ease of the Muslim family structure. She should not be fooled by the claims that men and women are the same and equal (in matters other than what the Legislation [The Qurʾān and Sunnah] have stated they are equal in, such as being rewarded for deeds, etc).
The woman must understand that she has a great role in al-Islām!
Women should give importance to inviting their sisters to the Tawḥīd of Allāh, and she must warn them against evil affairs and people (such as the “Qurʾāniyyūn” - who claim we are not in need of the Sunnah) and other than them from the misguided groups).
It is extremely important that the woman preserves her time, and busies herself with beneficial matters, and that she is of benefit to others. The woman has no time for debates and time wasting.
The woman must be obedient to her Lord, her husband and her parents. It is also upon the woman to be humble towards her sisters, is of service to her sisters, and that she helps those in need of her help.
Lesson 2 | الدرس الثاني
Important Points From The Lesson :
Worship is the sole right of Allāh. Therefore, regardless of how high a status a person has, whether they are an angel or even a prophet they are not deserving of worship.
Tarbiyyah of the children and serving the husband are worship!
Worship is of three types:
Qawliyyā [Speech Bases] (like Dhikr, reading Qurʾān, etc)
ʿAmaliyyā [Action Based] (such as, Ṣalāh, Ṣiyām, etc)
Qalbiyyā [Actions of The Heart] (such as, love, hope, desire, etc)
None of these acts should be directed to other than Allāh!
Everything is in the Hands of Allāh, therefore seek all your needs from Him alone. Rubūbiyyah, the affairs of Lordship [creating, sustaining, providing, etc] are with Allāh alone, and none shares in it! So, ask Him alone!
The three categories of Tawḥīd; al-Ulūhiyyah, ar-Rubūbiyyah and al-Asmā’ wa aṣ-Ṣiffāt - what they are and what they necessitate. It is upon both the man and the woman to study and understand these affairs!
Shaykh ʿAlī al-Ḥudhayfī al-ʿAdanī - حفظه الله - spoke extensively on relying on astrology and the impermissibility of searching, reading and believing star signs as many do today. Allāh did not create the stars for them to be read, rather He created the stars for:
Us to be guided in the darkness of night and sea
As a protection for us from the Shayāṭīn, by pelting them
For the beautification of the sky
Allāh - سبحانه - said;
And indeed We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, and We have made such lamps (as) missiles to drive away the Shayâtîn (devils), and have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire. (Sūrah al-Mulk: 5)
And He said;
It is He Who has set the stars for you, so that you may guide your course with their help through the darkness of the land and the sea. We have (indeed) explained in detail Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, Revelations, etc.) for people who know. (Sūrah al-Anʿām: 97)
