Shaykh Muḥammad b. Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUthaymīn - رحمه الله:

It is not possible for us to worship Allāh with* what He’s pleased with except by way of the Prophets - عليهم سلام - , because they are the ones who explain to us what Allāh loves and is pleased with, and what draws us nearer to Him.
