Fearing The Allies of Shayṭān - Shaykh al-Fawzān

Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān - ‏حفظه الله - Mentioned:

Allāh, the Mighty and Majestic, mentioned:
﴾إِنَّمَا ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ يُخَوِّفُ أَوْلِيَآءَهُ فَلَا تَخَافُوهُمْ وَخَافُونِ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ﴿

It is only Shayṭān (Satan) that suggests to you the fear of his Auliya’ [supporters and friends (polytheists, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allāh and in His Messenger, Muḥammad)], so fear them not, but fear Me, if you are (true) believers - [Sūrah Āl ‘Imrān:175]

He (Allāh) is informing us that from the plots of the enemy of Allāh is that he (Shayṭān) makes the believers become afraid of his armies and allies, in order that they may not make Jihād, command with the good and forbid the evil. We are prohibited from fearing them, and we’re commanded to fear Him (Allāh) alone, because this is a necessity of Ēmān (Faith).
