The noble Shaykh, Ṣāliḥ ibn Fawzān al-Fawzān mentioned:

“All innovations in the religion are prohibited and (are) a (of) misguidance due to his saying - ﷺ-: “Beware of newly invented matters, for every newly invented matter is an innovation and every innovation is misguided.”
