Just as the Kalimah, Lā ilāha ilā Allāh, has conditions, the second part of the Shahādah, Muhammad ur Rasûl-Allâh (ﷺ) likewise has conditions.

What is upon us is to learn both Tawḥīd and Shirk in detail. We learn about Tawḥīd to implement it as much as we can, and we learn about Shirk in order to stay as far away from it as possible.
We ask Allāh to grant us a firm understanding of our religion.

The foundations of worship are six; it is Tawqifiyyah, it is done for Allāh alone, the example in our worship is the Messenger (ﷺ), worship is limited by the prescribed numbers and times, worship is established upon love, humility, fear and hope, worship comes to an end only when life comes to an end.

Islām came to preserve five. The boundaries that Allāh has put in place are there to uphold these; our Deen, our lives, our lineage/ honour, wealth & intellect.

Lā ilāha ilā Allāh, the Shahādah, the Kalimah of Tawḥīd is the foundation upon which Islām is built. The Shahādah is the first pillar of Islām, and without this pillar being in place the rest of the pillars will not be correctly established.

Tawḥīd is the foundation of the religion. Allāh, The Mighty and Majestic, created Jinn and Humans only to worship Him [See Sūrah Adh-Dhāriyāt, Āyah 56]. Likewise, the Messengers and Books were sent to teach us how to establish the Tawḥīd of Allāh [See Sūrah An-Naḥl, Āyah 36]. Therefore, it is important for us to learn the importance of establishing Tawḥīd, as well as how to correctly establish it.

Is Islām just peace? Without a doubt, Islām is a peaceful religion, however, Islām is to submit to Allāh with Tawḥīd, to draw closer to Allāh by way of actions of obedience, and to free oneself from Shirk and its people.
